R.S.V.P.
This is our once-a-year opportunity to offer children and families a chance to see and experience the instruments of the orchestra up close and to have a hands-on chance to explore the wonders of making music!

For the first hour, the instruments will be stationed around the hall and outside - strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion - giving everyone a chance to make the rounds of the entire orchestra.

There will also be a drawing for a package of beginning lessons for a child who would like to get started with a musical instrument.

Following the "instrument petting zoo" the orchestra musicians will all come together inside for a special performance of Sergei Prokofiev's "Peter and the Wolf" where the instruments take on the roles of the characters in this classic Russian musical tale, with our special guest celebrity narrator.
Hope Lutheran Church, 45900 Portola Avenue, Palm Desert. FREE EVENT!
